이미지의 아르스 에로티카 분석 : 영화 <디 인터뷰>를 중심으로
본 논문은 최근 이슈가 된 바 있는 영화 <디 인터뷰>를 제국주의적 관점의 도상충돌 개념으로 다루어 비판하고자 한다. 영화 <디 인터뷰>는 저예산의 헐리웃 B급 영화로서 속된 성적 코드로 버무려진 전형적인 미국식 유머의 영화이다. 영화 <디 인터뷰>는 미국식 저급한 유머와 조롱을 통해 일방적인 메시지 해석에 면죄부를 선사한다. 유머로써 본심을 드러내는 이중화법을 이용하고 있는 것이다. 이런 식으로 미국사회는 영화라는 장르를 통해 제국주의적 사회담론을 분출시켜 왔다. 이러한 과정은 시스템화되어 저예산 영화로 저급한 영화적 문법의 공식을 체계화했으며, 이에 영화 <디 인터뷰>도 그 과정을 뒤따른다. 오히려 B급 영화의 문법은 제국주의적 메시지를 은연중에 전파하고 대중들의 머릿속에 각인시키고 있는 바, 그 대상이 은밀할 수 록 더욱 집요해지는 경향을 보인다. 정보 강국의 미국이 은밀한 변방의 국가 수장을 음지에서 꺼내어 조롱꺼리로 삼는 전략은 푸코 식으로 해석하자면 통제 영역으로 끌어들이기 위한 사전작업이라고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 작업의 일환으로 영화 <디 인터뷰>는 폭로적 성격을 지닌 예능 프로그램을 통해 북한을 드러내고자 한다. 이러한 전략 속에서 엿 볼 수 있는 제국주의적 메시지를 본고는 아르스 에로티카(ars erotica)와 스키엔티아 섹슈알리스(scientia sexualis)의 개념으로 분석해 보고자 한다. 푸코의 저서 성의 역사 1에서 언급되는 이 두 용어에는 실질적으로 비기(秘技)와 통제 사이를 꿰뚫는 통찰이 녹아있다. 이러한 관점으로 영화 <디 인터뷰>의 내용을 면밀히 검토해 보고 도상의 충돌로 인해 야기되는 미국식 유머의 의도가 과연 무엇인지 그 대상과 전략을 분석하는 것이 본고의 주제라 할 수 있다.
Analysis on a film’s Ars Erotica : Focusing on
This article is willing to critic a film which takes notice of Sony hacking incident. is a traditional american humor B movie to mix with sexual code. But shows double strategy of America's humor style. is using the double strategy that will reveal their true intention as humor. In general, American society has been ejected by the imperialist social discourse through film genre. This process has been systematized cinematic grammar to the low-budget film. also follow the same process. However, B-movie has been applying a systematic process and using the ideologic message which was stamped on the head of the masses. As part of this work, is intend to reveal the North Korea through the entertainment program as the disclosure. Foucault is mentioned in the book, . Also his insight inform that is intended to show closely American humor caused by ‘the icon collision’. As a result, the purpose of this article is to analyze the intention of American humor caused by the icon collision.
