This study aims to find the form of exhibition in metaverse virtual spaces, the uniqueness of artworks through NFT, and a method of mutual communication with viewers. Virtual spaces have become akin to real spaces and their development is accelerating due to the commercialization of the metaverse platform. NFT art is attracting attention as a new method of providing uniqueness to art, and is being actively developed in the art market. These two new spaces and technologies will result in the expansion of the methodology of art expression and exhibition, and will consist of new forms of exhibition participation, experience, and consumption for artists and spectators. The use of virtual spaces and NFTs, active art production, exhibition production, and audience participation are summarized in three ways. First, by providing uniqueness to intangible digital art using NFT technology, digital art can achieve parity with traditional art in terms of its status. Second, when a work of art with a physical original is digitally transformed into NFT art, the space-time difference disappears and art can be summoned anytime and anywhere through a visualization device. NFT art can be used as an index and certificate that proves the existence of a physical art object. Third, the metaverse results in the transfer and expansion of exhibition spaces from physical to virtual. NFT art will open the possibility of a story with a new form and type, and virtual spaces exhibition through metaverse will give us novel participation, experiences and opportunities for criticism beyond space-time.
